The Holy Family

Dear St. John the Evangelist Family,

I am both excited and humbled to introduce myself as the newest member of your parish staff. My name is Nick Labrie, and along with my wife and our four children, I am thrilled to be joining this community.

I was raised in St. Petersburg and have been working in ministry for over fifteen years, including some time alongside Fr. Kennell at St. Ann's in Gulf Breeze. It’s a blessing to now be part of St. John the Evangelist, and I look forward to getting to know each of you over the years.

In my role as Director of Mission Operations, I will be working closely with Fr. Kennell to help clarify and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for the parish.  I firmly believe God is already at work in this community.  My family and I experienced a taste of it in the warmth and hospitality we received when we visited earlier this year.  Rather than imposing a vision from without, I hope to spend these next months meeting you and coming to learn and discover what God is already about here at St. John's.  

I’m grateful for the warm welcome my family and I have already received, and we are excited for what God has in store for us here. We look forward to getting to know and live life alongside you as a part of the St. John's family.
