Introduces the richness of the liturgical year, teaching all to live their faith through the Church's seasons and celebrations.

Living Liturgically is a program for all parishioners! This is a time to come together and learn more about what it means to “live life abundantly” (John 10:10). Living Liturgically is designed to help you build up your domestic church. We will learn, pray and grow together as a family of families.

What to expect?

Living Liturgically meets every Second Sunday of the month in the Parish Hall from 9:30 to 10:30. We choose this time so you can join us after the 8:15 Mass or before the 10:45 Mass and still be able to attend your Mass of choice. There will be coffee, donuts, and other light breakfast refreshments available. There will be a few moments of catechesis, mainly to explain the activity and how it connects to the theme of the day.

2025-2026 Theme

This year, we will be learning about the Liturgical Calendar. Throughout the year, we will be exploring the seasons - Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Time - and how they help us to walk through the life of Jesus.

Volunteers

We are always looking for people to help make these events the best they can be! If you would like to volunteer for material prep, set-up, event assistance, tear-down, etc, please contact Jera Blanchard at jera.blanchard-towns@saintjohnpc.org.

The Mass

The Mass is a foretaste of the heavenly liturgy, where the faithful will worship God eternally in the company of the saints.
